Introduction
Dr. Patricia Padden focuses on adult and
adolescent psychotherapy with individuals, couples, groups,
and families, since she opened her practice in the York Region,
north of Toronto, in 1979. She also conducts Psychological
Assessments for adults and adolescents.
Dr. Padden’s Psychotherapy Orientation is tailored
to the therapeutic needs of the patient. She uses an eclectic
model that includes her extensive training in Cognitive Therapy,
Behavioral Therapy, Systems, Medical Model, Clinical Hypnosis,
and Psychoanalytic.
She is a scientific health professional and her practice
is governed by a code of ethical responsibility. She enthusiastically
believes in the Science of Psychology as vital in understanding
ourselves and understanding each other. Further building her
competence as a psychologist, and advancing her quality of
services for her patients, she actively participates in attending
national and international conferences, workshops, and study
symposiums.
